  • 19 swimmers qualify for British Trials (World Championships Trial)
  • 2 swimmers qualify for 2009 FINA World Championships (Lewis Smith and Craig Hamilton)
  • 1 swimmer qualifies for 2009 European Junior Championships (Craig Hamilton)
  • 1 swimmer qualifes for the 2009 European Youth Olympic Festival (Craig Benson)
  • Celtic Tri Nations Championships ~ Lewis Smith, Craig Benson (but could not attend due to trainng camp), Craig McNally, Craig Hamilton, Sally Wood selected for Scottish Team
  • WISE Schools International ~ Dan Wallace, Callum Shaw, Murray Lawrence, Jennifer Dobson, Rosie Hood, Jennifer Davis, Craig McNally 
  • Lewis Smith sets a new Scottish Record in the 400 IM at the British Trials
  • Dan Wallace, Craig Benson, Murray Lawrence and Jordan Dunn set a new Scottish Junior Team Record in the 4 x 100 Medley Relay at the Scottish Championships

2008

  • 2nd Top Club ~ British National Youth Championships
  • Top Club ~ Scottish National Open Championships
  • Top Club ~ Scottish National Age Group Championships (4th successive year)
  • 2nd Top Club ~ Scottish National Short Course Championships
  • Top Club ~ East District Age Group Championships (9th successive year)
  • Twelve swimmers attend Great Britain Olympic Trials (more than any other Scottish club)
  • Sean Fraser wins Bronze in the S8 100m Backstroke for the Great Britain Paralympic Team in Beijing
  • Lewis Smith selected for Great Britain Team in the Tri-Nations Meet to compete against France and Canada
  • Three swimmers (Ewan Johnston, Andrew Haslett, Sally Wood) selected to compete for Scotland in India at the Commonwealth Youth Games.  Ewan returns with two bronze medals, and Andrew one bronze.
  • Celtic Nations Championship ~ Fiona Booth, Rosie Hood, Sally Wood selected for Scottish team
  • Lewis Smith, Ewan Johnston, Billy Purnell race for Scotland at the USA Missouri Grand Prix Meet
  • Women's relay squad of Helen McRoberts, Fiona Booth, Rosie Hood and Katelyn Stewart set new Scottish National Team and Club Team records of 1:58.44 and 3:53.44 for the short course 4x50 Medley and 4x100 Freestyle events
  • Craig McNally sets a new Scottish Junior Record for the 200m backstroke (short course) of 2:02.66.
  • Craig Benson sets a new British Age Group Record in the 100 Breaststroke (1:06.06)
  • Champions ~ Division 1 and Division 3, Lothian Region Club Championships
  • Champions ~ Lothian Region Telfer Cup
