Ellen King
Ellen King became Warrender's first ever Olympic representative when she made the Great Britain team for the 1924 Games held in Paris. In 1925 she became the first person, male or female, to win the British Championships on three different strokes.
Jean McDowall
In 1928, Warrender swimmer Jean McDowall was selected to represent Great Britain in the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. An outstanding performance led to fourth place finish in the Women's 100m Freestyle.
George Ferguson
In 1930, George Ferguson became the first Warrender member to be elected as the SASA President. He was also appointed as Team Manager for the Empire Games in Canada that same year and the Commandant for the Scottish Team at the 1934 Empire Games.
Jessie McVey
Represented Scotland at the Empire Games in Canada in 1930.
