Warrender's Craig Benson continued his excellent mid-season form by setting a new British Age Group Record for the Boys 13 years 100m Breaststroke (long course) last weekend.  Representing Scotland at the WISE Home Nations Schools International Meet in Crawley, England, Benson won the 12/13 year old category in a time of 1:09.03, lowering the previous mark set in 2004 by 0.74 seconds.  As an added bonus, this swim was awarded the best Scotland team swim of the meet by the competition organisers.  Craig is part of Warrender's Junior National squad and is coached by Laurel Bailey.
