Warrender swimmers simply overpowered the opposition at the Lothian Region Club Championships in Prestonpans Sunday.  Fielding two teams, the red's 'A' team retained the Division 1 title very comfortably ahead of Aquanauts, Haddington and Hearts, whilst the 'B' team ran out winners of Division 3 to earn promotion to Division 2 for next year. 

In the separate mini-competition of the Telfer Cup where clubs compete over four mixed age and gender relays, a close battle ensued with Warrender and Portobello.  Portobello just edged Warrender in the two youngest relays, whilst Warrender won the two older races, and with Portobello back in third and fourth it meant overall victory for Scotland's leading club.
