Warrender swimmers were once again in great form at the Scottish National Short Course Championships, held 11-13 January 2008 in Glasgow's fast Tollcross pool.  A change in the scoring system which resulted in large in-depth teams like Warrender being disadvantaged compared to previous years meant it was too difficult to win the Top Club trophy for a third successive year but a second place finish behind the City of Edinburgh Performance Centre was still a very creditable performance.

The club's Women's relay teams produced the best results of the weekend, setting two new Scottish National Team and National Club records.  The quartet of Helen McRoberts, Fiona Booth, Rosie Hood and Katelyn Stewart swept all before them to set new national figures of 1:58.44 and 3:53.44 for the 4x50 Medley and 4x100 Freestyle events respectively.
