Fraser prepares for a busy few months!
28 Oct 2007

Sean Fraser (Junior National) recently spent a weekend in Manchester, getting final preparations in place for a busy few months ahead. Sean is a member of the British Disability Swimming World Class Programme, and as part of this programme was involved in a Race Prep weekend where a lot of work was done on specific skills such as starts and turns. Sean has set himself the very hard task of trying to qualify for the 2008 Paralympics and has duly been recognised by the governing body as having the potential to do so. Sean has three chances in early 2008 to qualify for an individual event at the Games, but then must also wait to see if he has been selected for a relay. The requirements for disability swimmers are somewhat more complicated than able bodied swimmers due to the different classifications involved. We wish Sean all the very best for the challenges ahead.
