Nine Warrender swimmers have been called up to the East District representative team that will take part in the ASA National County Championships to be held in Sheffield on 21st October.  Craig Benson, Yasmin Khera, Rachael McQueen, Ross Woolley, Robbie Purvis, Craig McNally, Jennifer Dobson, Rosie Hood and Ewan Johnston are all part of what promises to be a very strong team that takes on 39 other regions and counties from throughout Britain.  Last year the East District finished in their highest ever position taking 4th place in Division 1 and will be hoping to rank even higher this year.  In further good news for the club, Director of Age Group Swimming Laurel Bailey has been selected as one of the coaching staff for the event.  We wish, Laurel, the swimmers and all of the East District team all the best for this highly exciting meet.

Unfortunately, Rachael McQueen has had to turn down her selection due to a previously booked family holiday.
