FINA has just announced its list of approved swimsuits. It seems that Jaked 01's, Blueseventy's and Arena X-Glides are no longer allowed, although they do have a chance to get back in if they modify their suits before June 19th.

In 2010, some of those suits on the current approved list may go as well.

It is unclear from this release whether this applies only to the World Champs or whether it includes domestic events as well.

You will need to watch closely over the next few days on both the FINA website and the British Swimming and Scottish Swimming websites for more detailed information.

Expect more official interpretations and announcements in the coming days.
