Senior Coach Announcement
4 Apr 2009
I am pleased to announce that Kyle Goodfellow has been appointed as Senior Coach for Warrender Baths Club. Kyle will take up the duties of the role from 20th April ’09 and I’m sure you will all join me in congratulating him and in wishing him every success.

Kyle will shortly be gaining his UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC) Level 2 accreditation and will shortly commence an accelerated Level 3 course. It is worth noting that, as Kyle works towards his Level 3 accreditation, Warrender will have two of the most qualified coaches in Edinburgh on our coaching staff.

Kyle has been with Warrender since the age of 12, and has been one of the leading breaststroke swimmers in Scotland and Britain throughout this time. He has shown great loyalty to the Club and is extremely passionate about the sport of swimming. He has spent the past two summers in America, gaining experience of swimming and coaching at Fort Lauderdale Aquatics and is a former member of the Scottish National Team, representing Scotland at the US Open in 2005.

Laurel, Kyle and the other coaches will be working together over the coming weeks to put in place a revised programme that will take the Club and the swimmers through to the Scottish and British National Championships and will liaise with squads directly about the precise coaching details.
