GB Selection for Hamilton29 Mar 2009
Congratulations to Craig Hamilton who has been selected to represent Great Britain this Summer in a very prestigious meet.
After an excellent week of racing at the recent British Gas Swimming Championships, Hamilton has been selected to represent GB at the European Junior Swimming Championships which take place in Prague, Czech Republic, 8-12 July. Hamilton has qualified to swim the 400 and 1500 Freestyle events at this fiercely competitive meet, which show cases the best Europe has to offer from males born in 1991 and 1992 and females born in 1993 and 1994. Many of the World's best have taken part in the 'Juniors' and it is often considered a talent pool for future champions.
It is the first time for Criag has been selected to represent Great Britain, and we wish him all the best for this Meet and for his future success in swimming.
